CTS News Update 2024
2024 got off to a very busy start at CTS with several exciting projects being built and loading out of our 30,000 plus square foot workshops including:
Enemy of the People designed by Jan Pappelbaum and Directed by Thomas Ostermeier, LD Urs Shonenbaum, Sound Ben and Max Righam with Juli Fraire as UK Production Manager is currently running in the Harold Pinter in the West End.

We built and scenically finished a large amount of the new production of Hadestown which recently opened in the West End designed by Rachel Hauck, Director Rachel Chavkin, LD Bradley King, Sound Designers Nevin Steinberg and Jessica Paz with the Production Manager Spencer New.

We have just loaded out a brand-new Carmen for Glyndebourne Festival Opera which is fitting up as currently and which will look stunning on stage; designed by Riccardo Hernandez, LD Malcolm Rippeth, Director Diane Paulus with Andrew Jamieson as Production Manager.

We have also just completed Salome for Irish National Opera, designed by the legendary Leslie Travers, Ciaran Bagnall (LD) Bruno Ravella (Director) with Gavin O’Sullivan as Production Manager.

We are just putting the finishing touches onto A Long Day’s Journey Into Night Designer Lizzie Clachan PM Igor; and we also a new version of the National Theatres People Places and Things designed by Bunny Christie and PM’s Spencer New and Jody Robinson which opens in early May.
We have also recently been making Blue Man Group show floors from Shanghai and Japan over the next few weeks for a long-standing Production Management client of CTS, Stuart Tucker for Cirque de Soleil!
CTS have also been building elements of Burlesque for Production Manager Lloyd Thomas (for TR Heels Ltd) and we are currently putting the finishing touches on Kiss Me Kate opening at the Barbican (for Trafalgar Entertainment) designed by Michael Yergan and with Production Management from Jason Culverwell.
The next big project for CTS will be the Les Miserables 2024 Concert Tour (for Cameron Mackintosh) which we are very proud to be working on, celebrating 40 years of this ground breaking musical!

Time Travellers Wife designed by Anna Fleischle and directed by Bill Buckhurst and with Production Management by Lloyd Thomas one of CTS’s most regular PM clients: The show ran in the West End until recently.

The 5* smash hit Guys and Dolls at the Bridge Theatre designed by Bunny Christie, directed by Nicholas Hytner, LD Paule Constable, Sound Paul Arditti with Production Manager Chris Hay.
This production won Best Musical 2023 Evening Standard Awards and Best Musical Revival (what’s on stage) and recently had a cast change (who also received 5* reviews) and the show is now running until at least January 2025.
